Senator Clinton's name in nomination.....................
Senator Obama and the leadership of the DNC may be getting into a mood of desperation on the present situation in the election, but there is little they can do about it.....however as just announced there is going to be two candiates for nomination at the Convention..............
They may "threaten" Senator Hillary Clinton and keep a tight rein on her in every way, but it is the will of the people in the end who will have their own way and do what they want with their votes...
Senator Obama can control many things, but he has no control over Voting Power......

The leadership of the Demoncratic National Committee, aided and abetted by Senator Obama showed nothing but contempt for the ordinary Democratic voter in their actions in recent months......

The shoe is now on the other foot and it is likely that many voters will show utter contempt towards the DNC and their nominee, ignoring calls for unity and refusing to vote for Senator Obama....

As a non-voter, if I had been subject to all the actions of the DNC, I know what my reaction would be in the fall.........
The Vote belongs to the Voter and they will use it in November, as they see fit..........

One further point, there has been much speculation about the V.P. post for Senator Clinton......
if I was asked I would say she should refuse it..........it would be Political suicide for her.....She would never become President of the United States for several reasons.....

This "election' in Denver must be fair to both candidates, the Delegates who were "purchased" and crossed over for Senator Obama must vote according to the states they represent and should not have endorsed anyone but the winner of those states:if pressures and further clandestine meetings and underhand methods are used and made public after Denver....
then it will be blitzkrieg in November...........

Dr Feldman and Mr Rubin you must take a lot of credit, if what John King and associates linked to Senator Obama camp are stating this evening for reaching this change of position re the DNC and Senator Obama. I stated in an early submission that your articles were excellent and would have a profound influence on the election scene.
You both made them (DNC and Senator Obama) see the errors of their ways and how they blatantly denied Natural Justice to Americans.........

Heidi Li's Potpourri: The Denver Group: An Open Letter To Howard Dean from The Denver Group

Heidi Li's Potpourri: The Denver Group: An Open Letter To Howard Dean from The Denver Group: "Cre"
Dr.Feldman/Mr Marc Rubin
Your adds and your comments indicate the sole objects of the Denver Group. It has been made infinitively clear to all, who have seen and read your remarks in the Papers/Journals that you both want an honest contest for the Presidency and a winner elected (whoever that may be). in a trustworthy manner.
From Mr Dean's reported remarks in the interview, he is not really being open and honest, when he says that Senator Clinton's name will be on the ballot at the convention and will be speaking there......This gives the impression that she could still be presenting herself for election as President.....
He deliberately tries to mislead all who will read this report and believe that Senator Clinton is coming back into the contest......for in reality, the Democratic National Committee have no intention (at this time) of allowing Senator Clinton as a Nominee in case she might be elected.
Mr Dean does not in any way mention her nomination, but remains silent on it.....
Politics in the U.S.A. from an Irish prospective is sadly not any better than what is prevailing in some of the African nations.
The pursuit of power, to be gained by any means, at any cost will be the ruin of a great nation.
What self respecting Democrat could continue to vote for a party , which has been" taken over" and all principles of democracy destroyed.
It should be challenged, by the Delegates themselves, who should walk out of the Convention in Denver, without casting their votes, and appoint no one, until sanity and natural justice are restored to the Democratic Party.

Heidi Li's Potpourri: Informed speculation: what the Clinton and Obama camps may be negotiating

Heidi Li's Potpourri: Informed speculation: what the Clinton and Obama camps may be negotiating

Dr. Feldman, purely as an Irish observer of the current Presidential Election, I have a query and one on which I would appreciate your comments,
I have read in the press that for many years in all the conventions, historically it was the norm for the No2 runner
(the candidate who was not the" nominee " to have their name entered into the nomination, have their supporters speak on their behalf and followed by a roll call vote.
If this normal and accepted procedure is not on the agenda for this year's convention, can a legal challenge be made by an ordinary member of the Democratic party to have an injunction issued by the relative court to prevent the Convention taking place on the agreed date in August ,until this change in procedure has been argued legally and what effects it could have on the possible outcome of the contest.

Further, if Lawyers of the candidates are now talking, could this opportunity to present a legal challenge for an injunction
be jeopardized.
I do not have the procedures of elections in the United
States, and I apologize if I am way off course.
Good wishes, Senex, Ireland

Heidi Li's Potpourri: Hey Mark Penn, are you enjoying Independence Day?: "Subscribe to"
I am unable to comment on the subject of Mr Mark Penn, but
should like to be permitted to make a few important comments from an outsider's point of view.Firstly I feel the Denver Group/Dr Heidi Feldman"s are very professional and ethical blogspots,The presentation and content of last nigh's interview by Dr Feldman and Mr Marc Rubin was excellent and very informative and the programme will highlight the objectives of setting up the web site in the first instance.
Listening to the programme in Ireland last evening, I felt that the injustices and the corruption of natural justice that has been inflicted upon the Democratic party in general and upon Senator Clinton in particular by the Democratic Natural Committee should be further publized by the more balanced American press..."More of this evening's discussions to move forward the stated goals of the Denver group"
I cannot understand how any Democrat, who has seen the way the election was conducted, the unfairness of the D.N.C. and the bias of the media, the subjugation of one of the Presidential candidates....it is more like what happens in Zimbabwe.......a stain on the history of the great nation of America.
Who in all conscience could continue to work for a disgraced party?
The Democratics should consider their own pride and take no further action in this flawed election and by witholding thier
support and funding, it might expose to all , just how Politics in the United States are at gutter level and could not be lower as at present, as seen from this side of the pond.
Take back, Democrats your historical party and restore it in due course to its former glory.

Heidi Li's Potpourri:

have been following your website for the past few days and I would like to congratulate Mr Marc Rubin and Dr Heidi Li Feldman on its presentation.
It is the most professional blogspot in the country. A very ethical and extremely interesting site.

I have always held the wonderful nation of America in great respect and gratitude, when I first met, as a young teenager, a few of the American troops stationed in this part of Ireland, prior to the invasion of France and Europe's salvation. These Americans by their valour and sacrifice allowed many millions like myself to grow up in freedom. We Europeans owe them our existence and I have never forgotten it.

President Clinton and Senator Clinton are held in the highest esteem by the inhabitants of this island of Ireland, both North and South, especially for their international work during our sad and dark times in recent years.
They are always welcome at all times, great ambassadors for the United States

As an observer, I cannot believe what is happening in America to-day, especially the actions of the Democratic National Committee, not like the Americans we have come to respect over the years. Senator Clinton has the
potential to become one of the greatest Presidents of the United States of America and to have this removed from her (or indeed any other potential candidate ) in the manner that has happened is a stain on the Nations" history. The behaviour of the leaders of the Democratic National Party to date is somewhat similiar to those with power presently in Zimbabwe

Hopefully, in future information, discussions, comments dispensed from The Denver Group will show just how Politics has come off the rails and has reduced the meaning of elections to gutter level.

I look forward to your future comments and wish the Denvergroup being able to achieve exactly the
objects of the website being established in the first instance

Regards

Senex Ireland
